War on Terror - the boardgame

Article in the Independent about Kent police seizing a copy of the War on Terror boardgame from the Climate Camp protesters at Kingsnorth. Anyone who’s played the game will know it includes a balaclava with “EVIL” printed on the top, to wear if you play the game as a terrorist (it’s only a game, remember). The reason they seized the game? Apparently that balaclava “could be used to conceal someone’s identity or could be used in the course of a criminal act.

Does this really look like it could be used in the course of a criminal act? Balaclavas of course are not illegal. This was blogged by security guru Bruce Schneier, and as SteveJ points out in the comments, it’s not about the police being stupid, but about them bullying protesters.
